Michael decided that this was most likely our last year for Kid's Fishing Day. The Kennewick Park's & Rec. put it on each year for kids ages 5-12...for $5 kids get a t-shirt and a fishing pole...so, we are set with poles, until they bust...So, the Thurs. before they'd stock the kid's fishing pond with 6000 trout..and usually the fish are jumping, but this year, with our 4 girls & Aaron's 3 boys...we only managed to catch 3! Kiera reeled in our first catch right off the bat! Kaylee actually caught 2 others, but one was able to get off the line right as she'd brought it in to shore, and the 2nd...well, it fell off the line just as she was about to grab it, then she picked it up again as it was flopping, but that lucking fish just kept on flipping and flopping, right back into the water and away it went!! The boys reeled in two more and that was it...we'll be heading back again soon!!
