So, we arrived abouts 4 pm (loved that it was only 2 hours to get there!!)...unloaded...and then got to preparing dinner!! Can you believe that we prepared these two artichokes in such a HUGE pot!! Ridiculous...but it was the only thing we could find..the joys of a commercial size kitchen!!
While we got dinner ready, the kids enjoyed feeding the horses. Or trying at least, Tim said that one horse kept the other horses from coming too near...
Here we have a picture of the "plates" we got to use through the weekend. The kids have fun...yes, they are the cafeteria trays...but so nice to help dish out their food and etc. One thing we'd forgotten was plastic forks...and there weren't enough forks in the kitchen (until my parents came back from the Seattle hospital with a "stash")
Later we spent our evening just relaxing with one another and watching the kids play. Mikenna & Tanner had a blast on the benches...they played house, sailed on a boat, ran away from monsters...the others played pool and ran around with the shuffle board sticks...Big kids got to set up our projector, xbox & screen where the guys enjoyed playing Halo...
